Hi guys!
Have I changed much since I came back from Singapore?
I've been reportedly described as being "slacky" and having alot of "free time" now.
I'm also not really sure why!

Anway!
Can I just keep on harping on the fact that my neighbour is really too cute to be described beyond words!
He's really niccccceeee.
No I'm not smitten by him.
He's just too cutex!

So anyway.
I have an assignment due on Thursday, yeah and tonight.
I feel like I'm 40% done.
Hahahhaha, #likeaboss

Feeling sleepy now though.

The greatness of technology!
Saturday, August 24, 2013 @ 8:58 pm
So.....
My aunty has been welcomed to the new world of technology. Skype, whatsapp whatnot.
Today we had the most epic conversation ever.

On whatsapp:
Ku Jie: Girl, come online now mama want to skype.
On Skype:
Me: Hello mama, hello yeye!
Conversation goes along...... Kujie! Check your phone whatsapp, I just sent you a picture of the sakura I took outside hall, on my way to school!
Ku Jie: Girl, how do I use my new phone (S3), *mainly because kujie was using the most ancient phone just before this for 52 years, and she was having a new and fun time with A SMARTPHONE.
Me: takes out my S4, Goes to the message page, ku jie do you see the "gearbox" icon on your qwerty keyboard? *shows kujie the symbol by shoving the phone onto webcam"
Ku jie: Oh wait. What symbol?
Me: Almost shouting at my computer screen. THERE THERE THERE do you see that icon there?
Ku jie: Oh ya I do. What do I do next?
So the conversation just went on with me showing exactly step by step as if I was there in person next to her.
Only blocked by a computer screen.
If technology was so advanced, probably in the future. Perhaps I could stick my hands into the screen to appear on her side to help her fix her problems.

But hey, that's for the future.
For now, I'm really contented that there are all these forms of technology for me to stay connected to my loved ones back home!
102 days to Singapore!
I'm excited!!!!
NEW FRIEND YAY!
Wednesday, August 21, 2013 @ 10:33 pm
So I'm reporting what happened to me today!
Made 2 new friends (hahha like primary school) like that.
One of them is an Aboriginal! I feel stupid now because today is the first time I've officially been introduced to an Aboriginal!
He's from Darwin and doing Clinical Science, meaning future doctor! Like wow, okay so the common modules we did were biochemistry this semester.
People may call me a stalker, because I found his fb through no mutual friends, and just his name. But it was only that easy because we have a common module together what.
At least after I found him, I didn't thick skin and add him on fb right....

Hahhaha but I received a friend request from him shortly after! So I'm proud to say! I HAVE AN ABORIGINAL FRIEND!

Hiiiii all!
I'm back after a week.
Yeah, it has been a hell of a hectic week!
There was StEW and there was academic dinner, there was the big relationship announcement, discovered a new place for a workout: SA Aquatic centre to swim, my new big ass heater came, there was the cereal seminar and finally its down to my final school day of the week.
I have to get started on my assignments due in 2 weeks. I don't want history to repeat itself where I stress myself out and all that.

Sooooo, I shall be determined to do my assignments.
At least get started on them yeah?
Hahhahahaha. Alright.
It has been a good week I guess.
We intend to start recruiting people for our StEW project, and also intend to have a little fun with the new couple. Well well well.
Had the best italian food last night after attending a seminar on the future cereals hosted by the Nutrition Society of Australia. I never knew that they were so active in creating new products to suit the needs of the people. We'll see. Technology and New Creations...

Pictures speak more than a thousand words..
My morning today was splendid because of my half sleeeeepy eyes, my eye candy was walking out of the dining hall alone, and I was going towards it. Hahahha and I got a "HI MORNING" from him. Hahhahaha Ooopsssieeee. XXOO

Post National Day Celebrations at the Irish Club at Carrington Street this evening! It was an event put together by Adelaide University and Uni SA (Singapore Association). We got our NDP funpacks shipped here all the way from Singapore!

Yes, that's right! I've got everything here, including the clappers and the "sword" and even the booklet full of vouchers! The trendy hat minus all the foooood of course! It was a really fun night, everyone was mostly decked in red and white, and it was like truly home. Singapore accent and the kiasuness and really what Singaporeans generally do!

Great photo opportunities and singing "This is home". I really believe that these are the good old songs that are always remembered, rather than the songs that come and go every year and nobody else remembers. Living overseas the past few months has made me cherish my life in Singapore even more. Somewhere we are all comfortable and just familiar to us. So, I am really proud to be a Singaporean.

To many more years to come.
Happy National Day Singapore. #48years

While we walked around town today, the australians asked if we came from an event or something, and seeing we had like "funpacks" and "tattoos" on our faces. They even wished us a "Happy Independence Day!"
It was a truly great feeling.

I Love Singapore!

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Happy National Day! Happy Birthday Singapore!
Hahahah first thing first.
Morning madness. I broke my bowl this morning, and I also broke the oven door.
I was so flustered.
Everything just went PIAAANGGG. I didn't have anyone to turn to, and anyone to call for help.
I just sweep up everything and threw it into the bin lor.

So now I'm bowless and ovenless.
the glass just shattered like you know in those movies, someone shoots a bullet through the glass panel that sorta thing?
Yeah that happened.
My magic fingers make me #notfated with kitchens. I keep breaking stuff in there!

NDP up and coming!

HIIIIIIIIII.
I'm finally wearing my "trendy" pants out to "show off".
Something I'll never wear in Singapore.
My dearest mom packed it in my luggage to ask me to wear them to sleep, but I rather "show it off" lah!
Anyway, week 2 this week.
Our dearest nation is turning 48 this friday! I'm so excited!

My first ndp away from home, amongst the presence of like minded people.
I'm gonna wear red and white for sure! Defo looking forward to the hotpot and the live streaming of ndp.
Can't wait to recite the pledge at 8.12pm together with all singaporeans. Lol lol lol. SG TIME.
