The Final Farewell

I guess Service Hall 1 holds memories for me. This would be the second time i've been there this year already. Today was the final farewell as we bid her good bye. I consider myself quite brave this time, I placed a stalk of flower in the coffin. She looked so peaceful inside, just like a sleeping beauty in a deep sleep.

So they say, after creamation, her ashes will be scattered in the sea. She wanted that. Gran also commented that she also wanted that. Well not exactly scattered in the sea I suppose. They would just take a boat out, and let the urn sink to the bottom of the sea.

Luckily I heard that she managed to talk to her son before passing on, so i guess its not too bad. What's probably regretful would be that, she and her sister lost touch. So she probably doesn't know about the death yet.

Oh well, I gotta go for doctor's appointment now.

Bittersweet Weekend

Bitter is bitter. Sweet success is because of my dearest LEWIS HAMILTON! Tonight's Singapore Grand Prix was spectacular. The safety cars came out many times, so he was able to retain his position. Then also what was wasted was Rosberg and Vettel. They could have finished podium this time round, but one was because of penalty and the other brake problem.

This race was so alright, not say very exciting cause not much over taking, what was amusing was the number of times the safety cars came out, and also when the nose of the force india's car came out after Nick rammed into it. I didn't even know that we had an escape route. Then well done to Alonso, but he doesn't look good.

So sloppy looking as ever and not clean cut like dear Hamilton. 3 out of 4 Red Bulls retired and didn't complete the race. Grosjen retired in the earlier lap, and something similar to like the Massa incident also happened. The Jamie guy, many penalties for gear box and unsafe driving.

Funeral on tuesday, doctor's appointment also on tuesday.

A sudden death

Life is so fragile. I just saw her over 2 weeks ago, and now, 2 weeks later. She is gone. Gone from this earth. She was around when I came out. My grandmother's friend, since young when I went out with my grandmother she'll be around me. You can say, a family friend. She was a nice person to talk to. I remember holding on to her when we were hurrying for the shuttle bus at the airport. It's probably the closest i've been to her and now she's gone.

I know my grandmother, whenever a close friend of hers passes away. She becomes incredibly restless. She'll start taking out pictures that she had taken from the past and gaze at them like theres no tomorrow. It happened with uncle victor, what more now, aunty anna has passed on. It could have been prevented, and now my granmother blames herself, she's feeling terribly lousy. She is feeling regretful that aunty anna's calls for help did not reach her, and that she could have done something to prevent this sudden death. They were all so excited about the upcoming trip to Kota Kinabalu which is next saturday. However as she awoke this morning, the painful news of one of her best friends passing on has hit her hardly the most.

This death was really sudden. I heard that it was because she was feeling unwell last night thats why, maybe she got help too late. Aunty daisy and aunty annie rushed to her to take her to the hospital i guess. Gran was out with us, and we were at Changi.

As I am speaking, she is laughing over the phone light heartedly, but i can sense the sorrow and unhappiness in her voice. Who isn't sad when a loved one dies? She's just trying to put on an act, to be tough and strong on the outside.

For me, I think I'm being inhumane. I feel deeply saddened. I just can't cry it out. When ever I even think about it, I just think about how much fun we used to have together with aunty anna. Her laughter, and blurness was contagious. Its just like reliving past memories and you don't actual feel that the actual person is gone.

I'll miss her greatly.
I'll miss her ringing up gran, and asking for her even though she's not home.
I'll miss her laughter and her smiles.
I'll miss her pure white hair.

I don't know what I should do now. Good bye aunty anna, I'm missing you already.

Today was a hilarious day! Sarah came over. We were suppose to check out TP swimming complex. After all, it had been renovated. It was 0900 my alarm rang, the sky was cloudy, I went back to sleep and an hour later, 1000. Sarah called, saying she just woke up. So I was like, yeah me too!

She came over anyway. Had lunch. All convinience food unfortunately. I just heated up food, nothing nice to offer to my guest, but i put in alot of love in heating up the food and washing up okay! Had fried rice with sausage and bacon and ikan bilis. michael's croutons! frozen pizza and canned mushroom soup. so salty. but drank alot of water!

Going to watch transformers later, because earlier we had no time to do so. Anyway, went swimming when the sun as at its highest so that sarah can get her tan! The sun was shining really brightly and even the pool water was warm!
Here is the hilarious part of the day:

After changing into our swimming costumes, you know you gotta strip and then go into the water. She was so afraid of doing so. say she's shy.

S: wait! let me adapt first!
C: hurry la!
S: Ahyio, don't want la. I'm going to sit here!
C: why you like that one????
S:see got so many people lah, i shy!
C: gets up and walk.
S: HEY! WAIT FOR ME!
C: comes back. can you just walk, nobody will notice you!
S: ahya wait la.
C: you walk, i walk by your side. block you from the side with more people.
S: don't want la, in front still can see.
C: i'm going i tell you, if not you can just sit here.
S: okay lor, i'll just take the bag and leave.
C: can you just hurry up! weather so hot, and we are still not in the water yet.
S: wait la.

This conversation still went on for sometime, until i walked off, and she had to follow behind.

I thought the worst was over, guess what? As much as it was difficult trying to get her into the water. it was also very difficult getting her out of the water. We were at that exact spot for a good 10 minutes because she decided to wait until lesser people then she can get out of the pool.

S: i go out first ah, then you come up behind me.
C: okay. hurry.
S: ahya, wait. got alot of people now. wait until they all swim away.
C: they will never swim away, you can't just wait here all the time!
S: you wait for me to go up first then you go okay?
C: okay.
S: wait ah.
C: we've been here for some time already, we are suppose to get out already! you don't get out now, i'm just going out myself. (cause she insisted on using the stairs)
S: wait! (holds on to me), you go up after me.
C: okay you go up now.
S: wait!
C: attempts to go up without the help of the stairs
S: holds on tightly.
C: tries to go out using the stairs.
S: tries to hold down tightly.
C; sarah! hurry up can??!?!
S: wait! okok i go up now. climbs up halfway and stops. wait la. alot of people now.
C: SARAH HO! HURRY UP CAN. NOBODY WILL SEE YOU ONE LAR!
S: WAIT. i need to adapt. wait a bit more.
C: i get up first. wait for you over there. still get out despite sarah's objection.

Sarah still took her time to get out. i had to threaten her that i'm going to bathe then she came out. Shower wasn't shiok. the shower head is like annoying, power not strong at all! so little water come out can. so weak. So that's why i say today is hilarious! Got a tan though!

Going to eat cheesecake and watch transformers now.

PS I followed hpb's recommendations of exercising 5 times a week half an hour a day!

Today was a busy day. Woke up at 0600 to go trekking at Dairy Farm Nature Park, and walked for a whole 3 hours. Really tiring, but it was a good walk. I'm so tired out. Tomorrow I have physiotherapy, then probably I think i will go gymming this week, and also swimming. I am so busy this week. My sun burnt is killing me, my skin isn't peeling but it hurts. I'm fine.

Just finished watching the Seoul International Drama Awards 2009 on KBS. As usual, BOF is the most BEST DRAMA. It is sorta expected because its like the hottest drama these days. Kim Hyun Joong has also been voted the Best Male Artiste. Its great, he is really fabulous, and charming as well. Koreans what. Anyway, I just found out that he has H1N1. So hope he gets well soon! Thats all. Today I'm pretty happy, my day has turned out quite well. i think i need to go do my piano theory homework, don't know when my replacement lesson will be since i cancelled it yesterday.

Started watching a new korean drama this week, The Fair Lady also known as Take Care of the Young Lady on Mysoju. Hmmm, look at Jung Il Woo! He's charming. Okay I'm going to stick to this drama until i get my hands on EU, ciao!

Happy Birthday Mummy! Hahah, it was her birthday yesterday so well. Everyone was busy, so no I was the only free one to go out with her for lunch and dinner. She took me to some east ocean restaurant for lunch. Stomach not so good if not I'll eat more. Then she can still say luckily my stomach no good. If not, she'll be broke.

She took me to Isetan Private Sale, i was quite unsure if they would allow non card holders like me to go in, so i told her to say i'm her maid. hahah, it was cool, you had to flash your card before you're allowed to go into the sale. private event as they say. Anyway, its like discriminating against those who do not own the card, but heck!

Singaporeans sure know where the good deals are. The sale is really sale. Items from a $1000 can go down to $200. Truly amazing right! Fantastic, cheap, and alot of aunties around as well. It was like the whole of singapore was there. Especially the women, they all seemed like they took half day to come down to the sale! Fantastic deals i would say. We got a chopping board. the others were just too expensive, so we just admired.

I went to my favourite place in the shopping center. The supermarket. ISETAN supermarket, had such a wide variety of goods and food and produce and japanese fruits! We bought $14 worth of rice crackers. Cause the salesman was good looking. He was a system engineer and yet he was promoting rice crackers. Because he could speak english. He looks like a foreigner alright, but he had black hair and had an american accent, and good looks. My mother straight away gave him her card. She always does this, and when she spots something good, she never lets the opportunity past by her!

Then we went HOME. To rest and stuff, missed the begining of my 2 days 1 night! After watching that, went off to J8 for sakae sushi. I can't eat anymore, eat until so full! My father shiok lah, after that can still go to church. So we just walked around with mummy and bought clothes and stuff. Angela knows why right! I was so happy. I hope can maintain. Came home just in time to catch My Fair Lady, and see, thats the TIRAMISU cake that she bought for herself. With my recommendations :)

Great. i hate being sick. its the worst feeling ever. I have this puking sensation? I have a churning stomach and and burp alot. Had a 38.5 deg fever. Uh huh, like that not good enough. Doctor says if you have rashes appearing, come back immediately.

I think that he thinks that I might have dengue? I think so too, i'm scared. Then i hardly eat and my grandmother keeps complaining that i'm on a diet. Its just that i don't have the urge to eat anything, and although drinking water is important. After i drink I just feel so bloated I can't move.

Another thing i'm sweating like a pig. To think I just washed my hair this morning. DRATS. The haze is getting on me. I keep looking out of the window and its this blurry and trapped feeling. The whole world is so misty and URGH. I want to get out of the house, I have activities to do you know! Like tomorrow, if I don't go out, I'll lose 4 cca points instantly. Then again, i've got an MC for 3 days. SO yeah. I don't know what to do.

Devastated. Simply traumatising. Okay, I shan't over react, its just so wasted. Hamilton was on his last lap and he just got into accident and then safety car came out. ARGH, and Ferarri got an easy 3rd place at Hamilton's expense. So I'm so upset, was yakking and screaming. Oh well, I will get over it.

Next up, race in Singapore! I hope I get to go down to watch the race! Sushi for dinner. Thirsty now, going to drink milk :)

I seem to be waking up later and later these days. I think my body clock has just turned topsy turvy. I need at least 11 hours of sleep. So i sleep later and wake up later and therefore my day is also shorter.

Today, i decided t take a trip down to the Comex 2009 at Suntec, so many people. Its like being a sardine in a tin. Went with sarah, to check out the deals for my camera. Sarah spent the most today, she and her 4gb imation thumbdrive and her adidas shirt. The deals there were pretty cheap, lots of things to see, dirt cheap. If i had the cash, I would just buy up whatever I thought was a good deal, which meant everything I liked. Well it was really packed to the max. People were just squishy and squashing against each other, and you know all the weird smells were exposed. HAHAHA.

Oh well, I gotta wake up early to walk to the dog tomorrow cause dad still isn't home yet. Drats, audrey will wake up at 6.15am for her fantastic netball match. Tomorrow! I will watch another cinderella story on hbo family. YAY. okok, I'm being retarded.

Happy Birthday Ziling! I know you're away at camp now, we will celebrate when you get back from RIO camp okay! Then you'll be hardy and very robust after surviving camp!

Today woke up early, gran decided that today, we go and send mummy and daddy off for their trip! So now I have to walk the dog like everyday till they come back. I made Sherm come with me, cause she has nothing better to do. It wouldn't be nice to rot at home would it! Thats why I made her come too! We sent them off, so can say its a second honey moon or something.

That sherm ah! WEAR THE SAME COLOURS AS ME. RED BLACK RED. Like okay... She copied me! Then whole day beat my fats, say something like " I just felt like doing that. or had the urge to do that" Brought her to T3 cause intitally she claimed she hasn't gone there before. Sheena joined us later, after I checked out crocs sale.

Followed them to farrer park, I know where it is okay sherm. Its close to muthu's curry and Mustafa center, I bought my grad night bag there okay. I live in the same era as you alright! Anyway, i'm so tired now. i want my camera, i heard from angela that the comex fair has great deals, so may go down and check it out tomorrow!

OH OH OH, AND I FINALLY MADE MY BEST BUDDIES TAKE THE CIRCLE LINE WITH ME. Its not really forcing them, but rather reasoning them and being enthusiastic about riding the circle line!

Thats what happened when i persuaded qi qing to ride the circle line as well.. My first question to you will be " have you taken the circle line before?" hahah! Its really exciting, and I have a great sense of satisfaction when i take my friends on their first rides on the circle line! ENJOYED YOURSELF RIGHT? SHERM AND SHEENA! right!

AIMAN, SARAH and JANE! Nicole's the only one missing. She's busy studying for promos! Like

every other JC person. So she says she'll meet up with us after her promos, which means that she'll meet up with us, probably before our school starts, meaning, after our long 6 week break.

Caught a movie today, G FORCE, about guinea pigs. It was another birthday treat! From Sarah Ho this time, she paid for lunch and movie ticket! I'm so happy. She is so nice, had pasta mania for lunch. Spinach Tortelli! Its nice, especially the tomato based sauce. I was able to taste the richness of the tomatoes as well as the garlic bits. Its mouth watering when i'm just describing it now!

Anyway, G FORCE, it was a walt disney show. Didn't know that. But its weird that somehow these shows, have the bad guys turning bad. So i guess, its like a learning lesson or something that there is always a chance to be good again? WOW. okokay.

I will go watch my show now.

Woke up bright and early this morning to follow dear sqq to her nutrition clinic. Who blames her for being xxx? Anyway, I got to see what a job scope of a dietician was like, pretty much interesting. You gotta to encourage people to eat healthly, and have lots of "fake food samples" things in your office. Wear a white coat and a mask around the whole of the hospital!

Anyway, she decided to be kind, and took me on my 2nd ride on the Flyer. It was her first time on board, I went with Qixiang and her. She paid for it, as a birthday present! YAY! It was fun, the direction of the flyer has changed since i last took it! There were many additions as well, now I could see everything in the day, cause the last time i went it was at night!

Saw the area for F1 track and the grandstand area! The Marina Bay floating platform is now turned into a soccer field! We could actually get our own capsule, however, we had the company of 2 angmoh guys. So it wasn't too bad. We were actually quite close to having our own capsule! sigh! The 2 girls behind had THEIR VERY OWN CAPSULE! It was like a nokia mania, as we all whipped out our nokia phones to take pictures. It was very noisy aye!

Had Popeyes for lunch. SUPER OILY AND UNHEALTHY, WHERE DID SQQ JUST COME BACK FROM??? A NUTRITION CLINIC, SO CONTRADICTING. Took 171 to DG station, as I needed to get to the purple line. It was more worth it then just taking a bus to city hall, at least I get the transfer rate. Stupid okay. I just topped up my card on saturday, $10 and now I have to top up again! Transport around Singapore is so expensive!

Reached Kovan slightly before 1330, since I planned my time out so well :) Met pei yun, theresa and ziling and walked to block to 231! Pat's kitchen! I practically screamed block 231 when I saw it! YAY i found that block. It was the venue for our Sushi Class!

Sushi Class! Thats Pat in the middle, she taught us how to do make sushi. The rice is very important. When I master the art of making the perfect sushi! I will make it and let my friends try! HAH, hopefully they don't die of food poisoning ( right sarah? ) Sushi was perfect. I loved the cucumber there, and started munching on them. They were nice and crunchy alright! When pei yun gets back, i want pictures of the Sushi!

See my grandmother! She is super excited and happy that for the first time, one of her "babies" have borne fruit! She has hot hands, so its quite rare that she can 'harvest" chilli off her plant. So there they are, the star of the show, 2 chillies from the entire plant! Congrats!

Woke up at 0655 today to go down to kallang to support the juniors for netball! Gahh I miss playing netball! I want so badly to play on court again, but once bitten, twice shy. The injury was scary and I am afraid of pain now that I have experienced that.

Justina, Carol and I were supposed to meet at 0730 at tp interchange, however that girl didn't pick up her phone. I think she slept the whole day, we've been trying to get her so many times, and not once did she answer her phone. I think i can memorise her colour-me-tone by now. " i know that we all can be friends..." hor? Justina??

Met carol at 0800 instead, cause she said she'll be late, so I also left the house later! We took bus 31! I still can remember, always had to wake up bright and early for matches at Kallang Netball Center. PLUS it was raining today, so the matches were pushed back.

We arrived at the center, saw michelle, and the others! I miss the atmosphere where IJ girls would just go screaming and cheering! The cca also expanded! So many unfamiliar faces but they were all a close knitted group! I heard coach abandoned them, she forgot about the match and went overseas!

When the matches started, we found outside empiring on the sidelines, like screaming out, and mumbling to ourselves "ahhh STEPPING!, OBSTRUCTION, CONTACT!,STEPPING ON THE LINE!" I remember being so stressed out when I kept hearing the umpires' whistle but it was fun!

The last match was exciting, truly exciting. We fought to the end, it doesn't matter whatever the outcome was. Everyone put in their best efforts and did their best, so thats all that matters!

Watched 1박 2일 as usual. Its super hilarious, I love MC 몽! Koreans are super funny when it comes to variety shows like this. Anyway, this morning I woke up super early so that I could go to the Army Open House with my father.

It was like reliving the times for my father, except that the technology now used by the Army is totally different from what he used to use.

He also said they no longer needed people of his calibre because the equipment now have different functions and expectations already. The place is huge, I think this kind of event is held every 5 years, and I've been obediently following my dad since young, so much so that I think its going to be a tradition! Saw the live action show, BOMB and the different kinds of operations happening.

Now he says the uniform is called pixel form, more high tech, once the soldiers hide in the trees or such, they will be better concealed as compared to the earlier kinds of uniform. I boarded the tanker and such, and don't know what chinook and alot of things. I remembered when I was younger I wore some mini fireman suit and took a ride in the fire engine! That was a long time ago! I also thought I'll be able to eat army food. To me, it tastes unbelievably tasty! So looking forward to it, but then, sigh.

Food now served by the Singapore Food Industries, and so much so $6 for a plate. So my father and I decided to be smarter now. Took the shuttle bus back to Boon Lay. Initially he decided to be clever, saying that if we took to Joo Koon it'll just be a short walk away. I battled muddy grasslands and traffic lights to get to Pasir Laba Camp instead of a "quick" way to camp.

It was his first time at Jurong Point as well. He was just as amazed with it as I was the first time i went there! Had Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup! YESH, it was superb, but then everything there was quite expensive there! But lunch was great! It was like being in malaysia cause it was super big!

I just realised I got sunburnt, you know the nose nose there, and the cheek cheek there. A little bit lar, but then its like cooked crab. Tomorrow going to support Juniors! YEAH. Go Juniors, so I gotta sleep now!

Exams are over! I'm supposed to be free, yet I don't feel at ease at all. Cause I'm worried about the results. Nutrition was crap, the questions were a killer and this is shit?
Went to watch The time traveller's wife today cause the odds were against me. It was 3 vrs 2? I wanted to watch bandslam though. Typical love story movie, guy disappears and reappears again, funny to say. I thought the story line's a bit weird?

I mean, can such things actually happen in real life I wonder? But then again, its a fantasy thingy, and yar. Now I have nothing to do. I got to find things to do. I think I'll stay home and rot!

I FINALLY WENT TO ORCHARD ION TODAY. I WENT WITH ZILING NG, CAUSE THE REST HAD TO GO BACK.I DIDN'T EXPLORE THE EXPENSIVE GOODS, I JUST EXPLORED THE BASEMENTS FOR FOOD. ZOMG SUPER NICE FOOD THERE, AND SUPER EXPENSIVE. ITS GREAT FOR WINDOW SHOPPING!

Today has been a great day! Thank you for all the birthday wishes!

Thank you Pei Yun, Theresa, Ziling, Elizabeth and Pam for the lovely surprise that you people gave me yesterday! HAHA. I was in a rush to run for my train, and these people who claimed that they were going to take MRT held me back and passed me a bagful of presents! I LOVE IT. THANKS, I THINK EVERYTHING INSIDE THAT BAG, I REALLY NEEDED. Erm, all except for that DRESS. Not say I don't wear dress la, must see what kind of occasion la! I wore Dress for grad night okay!

The wallet was nice and the watch is a beautiful one!

Mummy gave me a wallet too! She also ordered a durian cake! All the way from Jalan Kayu, she had to go there to collect it today, and she brought back 2 pratas for me! This weather is fantastic for enjoying curried flavour stuffs!

YAY. Though I can't personally thank everyone for their birthday wishes, many have made my birthday really memorable this year. For the first time, I was like so surprised that so many people wished me at the strike of midnight!IT WAS A 3 WAY TIE!

ANGELA, THERESA AND PEIYUN THANKS AH! YOU 3 WERE SO ENTHU! WANTED TO BE THE FIRST, YOU WERE LOR! VERY GOOD! THANK YOU!

SHERMAINE NG! ♥♥♥ YOU ACTUALLY REMEMBERED MY BIRTHTIME BETTER THAN ME! I can't even believed that i actually forgot my own birthtime, and yet you remembered. I'm so touched!
