Today, we had foodie and games comm meeting for Sec 4 farewell.
Flew all the way to IKEA, the queensway one,the one that we recently went to just 2 days back. Well, the most amusing thing on the way back on the bus to supposedly mrt station. We missed the bus-stop. I actually discovered it first. I interupted Si Yinn as she was telling us her grand mother stories. I was like oh shit, we like overshot.
Then we alighted at the stop which was quite far away from the station but within walking distance and walked back. Then we went to PS, where Gracia was waiting, that Gracia just put on her braces so it was like ehehehheheheurghurgh, couldn't exactly make out what she was saying. HAHAH! I'm sorry for making fun of you Gracia!

People, please contribute foood leh! Sec 4 farewell is just next monday! WOW! Everyone was like glitz and glamour la.

I have pictures and i want more! Past 3 days in school. Council camp. TEAM KATHLEEN, consisted of Eleanor,Jocelyn Loong,Steffi, Celeste, Roslyn, Chu Ying and me. WOW! Plus KATHLEEN. The exco named the groups after themselves lah!
We had alot of fun together. We all laughed our heads off and all! Just really really fun. Amazing race today was like so messy and so disorganised for our team. like hald got stuck in the sky train and then, we ran up to the supposed " RUTH TOP " of IKEA!
WELL! In short words, this camp was really fun and all, I can't pen all these words down la. I want the pictures we took! Council Camp!


I'm off to my 3 day council camp! Will be back on Saturday night!
Will miss me huh? Yea! I'll be back! Well yesterday was the last day of Job Attachment at Ren Ci Hospital.

Day4-09/11/07
We all arrived on time today, well, we were so early until we met up before the arranged time, thus we decided to use our SKY BRIDGE for the first and last time TO Ren Ci in the morning, Valerie seemed okay from her SORE THROAT from wednesday. WE arrived there and assumed our seating positions and guess what? That day was the day that we arrived there the earliest but we left the latest! Today, Simon Lee wasn't there, heard he was on MC. Well, that puts Mdm Tan in charge. We followed her instructions and wheeled them from C5 ward and all. I didn't know that friday was like Movie Day, They all gathered in the room to watch like some LOUD chinese show. It was so boring until they had to change and watch Mr Bean.
Sheena and I took the chance to play our last game of checkers on the amusing and interesting board. We played until we had no space to move and ask Valerie to join in. In the beginning, she had refused to give up. Eventually, I WON! Hip Hip Hurray.
WE took the patients back to their respective wards, and Valerie, Roxanne and I including Sheena( new addition) went on our rounds, hoping to see Sammy,but M2 ward was having diaper change now, so we couldn't possible go in. We went to C2 instead. The old ladies there are the cutest and we miss that ward alot. I miss Misnah, the panda-eyed lady, the lady whom we called the translator and Lachmi and the lady who told us not to go home so late at night. There are many more, there was one that liked to hold Sheena's hand and she speaks Cantonese but we had a hard time trying to make out what she was saying as it was all muffled. We went to tell them that it was our last day there. And they wanted us to come visit them again. We left them for lunch.
We had lunch at KFC again! Cause Valerie's pocket of money was like limited and stff, I shared a buddy meal with Sheena. OH yes, Yan Ling and Sheena came along cuz Teresa and Lenice had gone to eat SAKAE. Well we had an enjoyable time. Sheena doesn't eat like tomatoes or pineapples. She dug those ingredients out from the Cheezy BBQ melt which was more like a peppery melt with some PEPPER MELT SAUCE. WE then went to SQ2. Before that, we revealed our secret linkbridge to the 2 and the were not fascinated by it. Shouldn't have done it leh. Well, I bought my MANGO TOPPED WITH HONEY OATS yami youghurt and Sheena went to buy her Korean Ice Cream and we went back. Taking our Sky Bridge memory with us for the last time.
When we arrived back at the hospital. WE were the first again. I mean that day we had a sense of PUNCTUALITY. Our initial idea was to sleep but the sec 4s were so funny. They were like talking about Johnny Depp, High School Musical and the weirdo JAY CHOU. The rest of the afternoon was for us to like teach the eldery how to do the Chinese New Year decorations. Well........ I took on the challenging wooman cause the rest where afraid of her being temperemental. She was quite okay, she kinda understood whatever I told her and we made a great ring ring decoration. As Roxanne Called it.
After that whole episode, we brought them back to their wards and then we went to water Mdm Tan's plants. Many hands made light work, as compared to like monday where i had to keep refilling the pot of water, now we minimised the number of times of that and then on the way we visited Sammy for the last time.
We couldn't find him the last time when we went as he wasn't in his bed, Valerie spotted someone outside the ward, which she didn't regconise as Samuel cause he took off his specks.I DID OKAY. WE went over to him to say goodbye and then we introduced ourselves. WEIRD HUH? CLARISSA, VALERIE AND SHEENA. We wrote on his paper. Well, he kept asking us questions on why we had to go. When we were coming back to see him again. That was the very question that struck us without an answer. I wouldn't mind going back again, wasn't sure about the others though. We wheeled him back to his bed and then he asked us when we were free. I thought he wanted us to go for his birthday party or something. Then he said I LOOKED STRONG and he seldom saw such interesting names thus he couldn't remember all of it.
VALERIE spoilt everything by being a killjoy, she said that we had to go now, and it was like only like 4.30pm and Roxanne and I wanted to stay longer lah. But nevermind, we told him it was nice meeting him and then he kept saying thank you for coming back to see me, and byebye. He also wanted to use the computer, which was rather impossible as Simon wasn't here. WELL. WE finally like took it in our stride and managed to walk out leaving our heavy heart behind.
Of all, I will miss Sammy alot too and Misnah as both are very cute. And they are the only 2 that i could actually communicate with. Sammy was like writing and typing and all. I mean like, thats so adorable. I think Roxanne feels the same way too. Valerie on her way back wanted to go and see her Mr Lucid but was afraid to go into his ward lah.
We went back to the cute C2 ward and mingled around for the last time. We couldn't bear to leave Sammy, and we were like byebye. I said bye to Misnah and the nice chinese lady. The panda-eyeed lady wanted to come with us. They asked us to visit them tomorrow. AHHHHH, I really miss them.We went to the sink to wash our hands with the favourite nice smelling soap for the very last time. HEAVY HEART

I miss everything lah! I was at Ren Ci Hospital for Job attachment the past 3 days.

Day 1-05/11/07
It all started on Monday morning where everyone was kinda reluctant to get out of bed to meet bright and early at 8.30am at the Novena MRT station to go RC.Well, Nobody knew the way and it was already like 8.45 plus when we walked to towards TTSH. The seniors attempted asking staff at TTSH where RC was,it didn't make any sense to me.
When we arrived there, we took a tour around the place and explored the place a bit. The place is really run down and all, looks like a temp school with many many different wards and blocks. We were briefed on the Dos and Don'ts with the wheelchairs and shortly after, we became PROFESSIONAL WHEELERS.
The seniors went to BUGIS to buy card materials and didn't come back until like way LONG after lunch time. Wonder what they were actually doing.
We wheeled the residents as SIMON LEE calls them into the air con room to like do their exercise, we played like we ballons and stuff to help exercise their back muscles and arm muscles. Well, we had like 2 hours of lunch time.
I met my MUMMY and Roxanne and Valerie were kind enough to follow me to Sq 2 after repeatedly pursues not to eat at the Kopitiam at TTSH. We went our own ways because they were afraid of my mummy and then we met up later. I admitted that the main reason why i agreed to have lunch with mummy was to get a free lunch. I supposedly made them go on a wild gooose chase in search for their "Delifrance" which was like non-existent.We met up after lunch and went back soon after. They had a karaoke session and then we were like enjoying ourselves as well. Didn't know there was like Malay songs too!.

Day 2- 06/11/07
Well, Roxanne and Valerie agreed to meet me at 8.40am sharp but they arrived LATE again lah. Valerie had a hard time finishing her bread at Han's for breakfast. Those 2 never fail to be early i tell you. Always eating at expensive places too.
The day started off with making of cards. Misnah was so unenthusiastic about it. On the other hand, we got to know Samuel. He's only 38 and he spends his life in the home.He's very particular about himself and in very determined to get things done. he wrote a letter and typed it out on the computer in about an hour. His language and spelling was perfect. He's quite friendly too. We spent like 1/2 of that whole day doing cards for fun raising and talking to Samuel.
Then it was lunch time and Roxanne and Valerie accompained me to SQ 2 yet again. OH YES, i took them on a secret route yesterday and they seemed to love it. Its what i call the secret link bridge.Roxanne and I want to keep this as our little secret and we do not intend to share our beautiful linkbridge with anyone else. HAHA, rather selfish of us.We know.
Daddy flew down from bugis that afternooon just to buy me lunch. We split up before that, we went back to POH KIM as roxanne spent like almost $30 on some silly VCD which VALERIE AND I VIOLENTLY OBJECTED TO which she didn't listen and bought it the day before. She claims that she had bought like defective goods and INSISTED on changing it. Well, Daddy treated Mummy and I to SAKAE. Then i bought him a MR BEAN soya ice cream as a reward.
The both of them left and i decided to use the receipt and enter myself into a lucky draw and i actually won $20.00 at the Scratch and Win paper, and I also have a chance to go for a fashion thing in Paris.
When we went back, that afternoon's job was to prepare the ingredients for POPIAH MAKING and this time, only the males were brought to the COLD air con rooooom. THe really enjoyed making popiahs for themselves and after that, it was HOME SWEET HOME.
I think for the past 2 days, we could have washed our hands like for about more than like 20 times combined, and the soap smells like a drink. We had to constantly wash our hands because the staff don't want us to pass germs or get infected easily.

Day3- 07/11/07
Well, For once. I was late. Mummy was like wait for me lah, and she was checking something on the net, it was already like 8.30am. Then i waited for her, then we went down to the MRT then she was like. Your train in 1 mins time, i was like you aren't coming? Then i wait for her for what? Thats the reason why i was late.Roxanne and Valerie were already there when i arrived this morning and both of them had woken up later then me but were there already. WE arrived on time and we set up SHOP for the bingo game. We also wheeled Samuel in for his computer session. WE communicated quite smoothly and today he wasn't really sensitive already. Guess he was quite used to our presence. Well, we spent that whole morning talking to him and then he wrote a song. At least, he like rememebered the lyrics whioch was like so cool. He typed it out like a pro.Anyway, we had lunch at KFC and i waited so long for my silly melt. Which was the wrong one anyway when it came. Then we flew back to RC because Simon said we had to back by 1315. But no one was there so it was like futile trip. I spent the time finshing up my reading and after that took a short nap as there was ample time. We were all really refreshed after that rather long nap before we did stuff. We went to C2 like professionls, after 3 days of existence, we knew how to move around and the ward names and picked up our residents for a nice WHEELIE under the sun. The path of unstable and we frequently had to use alot of strength to make sure our resident didn't fall off. After that, we went back to the air con room to play games. I stuck around with Misnah and she had to like pick out buttons in a box of red beans. It was quite easy for her to do it lah. We also wheeled Sammy in cause the UWC students wanted to interact with him. They were only present for like a short period of 45 mins and left promptly.
We were dismissed after that. Time indeed passes so fast, Friday is our last day. I really don't feel like leaving, I'm considering doing my remaining CIP at RC after all, we were there was almost a week and we are familiar with the stuff there.

WOW, this post is SUPER DUPER LONG. I think this is my LONGEST of all!
