I just saw TR's pictures at barrage, sigh. I wish I was there. Damn this sickness lah. It doesn't know when to come does it. They look like they are having so much fun. While I was just at home sleeping around, getting my rest.
I also feel quite bad that i'm unable to show my guests around singapore. My mummy says I'm to stay at home and get adequate rest. I suppose thats important too, because I'm leaving for the actual FO camp tomorrow and I will definitely be missing out on alot of sleep! Shes making me see the doctor again later, so that i have medicine to bring along to camp. But who would actually take medicine at camp? Seriously.
Sigh. cls fo camp is 4 days 3 nights. Then on friday, i'll go see miss liew and she'll explain my roles to me luh. Thats it, i'm going to rest now. My body needs its beauty rest.

I just realised I've been MIA for almost a week now. Since monday was my last post.
Was away for cls prep camp from 24th-26th March, the moment I came back home, I went to see the doctor.
Wasn't feeling well, seems that I had a fever! No wonder I always felt so cold during camp.
High fever for the past 2 days. Well horrible feeling, mummy didn't allow me to wear jacket, or put the blanket on, she made me shower even though i was shivering to bring the fever down. Then still put ice pack on me. I know its for my own good, but its seriously too cold. Well the cough is still around. The silly thick phlegm. Fever's gone!
I hope I recover before cls camp. I seriously missed TR meeting yesterday! Illnesses just don't know when to come, they always come at the wrong time.
I learnt how to ice skate today!

I'm back! Back from a day out with my classmates. Mini class gathering like that. Initially about 13 people or so, but only 11 turned up. I thought it would be really weird in the beginning cause we seldom talk in class and yet we're going out to ice skate, but after a while it got fun!
I was really scared when we first started, because I was afraid I'll just slip and fall, and the skates were super heavy. wuwu brought her polaroid and in total we took 3 pictures as a group! Its quite retro looking, as in the picture, like we're from a different century or something.
Anyway, I think while others are working hard during this holiday for their pocket money, I'm spending money like crazy. I think I spent a total of 30 plus just today alone. Anyway, ice skating. Paid $18.50 for 2 hours, luckily I had my socks and gloves, if not surely gotta pay even more. Bad experience with inline skates. I remember that time secondary school when they brought the skates to us, and taught us how to skate in school. I was literally holding on to the basketball pole. This time, I felt that ice skating is actually easier than inline skating.
Initially, I held on to the sides, and really didn't want to let go. Then learn it bit by bit, slowly lah. Hold hands and let go of the sides, and before I knew it I was on my own! Woohoo! Thanks to coach theresa and xiu jun!
Coach Theresa wants me to fall once, so I will remember it, and she also didn't want me to hold onto to her, she wants me to skate on my own.
Coach XJ on the other hand, was kinder, and held on to me, for me to learn slowly and take my baby steps.
So anyway, thanks to both coaches. Wuwu and ziling, we all seem quite fine on our own now right! When Jurong opens, we shall go.
Sarah ho, if you ever read this blog. I can ice skate a bit now, so call me, I'll go out with you to ice skate. I'll take baby steps.
Anyway, it was really fun lah. It feels good to be able to ice skate. The ice was a bit more difficult to skate when more people came. I fell once. On my knees. My 6k knee, luckily it was okay. I'm happy. I know how to ice skate now.
After that, we went to cathay to walk walk, and ended up going towards SMU to search for the foodcourt. In the end, we ate at delifrance opposite SMU. Alot of $$$ spent already.
Tomorrow going to distribute the FOBT thingy with Sq, actually don't have to go one lor. They also never put our name. Then on wednesday, our results come out, and then I'll be off for prep camp. 3 days 2 nights. Then saturday meeting dear rockets for outing!
Busy Busy Busy! Hope my legs don't ache. Oh Aunty Jenny is coming from london tomorrow with Uncle Wai Lam, they're staying over for 2 weeks. I won't be home like for 5 days! Hahahah! Lots of chocolates coming my way!
THANKS WUWU AND ZILING FOR HOLDING ON TO ME ALSO, WHEN THERESA AND XJ LEFT ME ALONE TO SKATE FREEESTYLE.
Busy Saturday, thats tooo much canon eos for the day.

WOW. I'm finally back. I reached home at midnight.
Had an eventful saturday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIE KOH!
We planned a surprise for a her at marina barrage, with cake and picnic and all. Yinsan and Liyin fetched her from city hall, blindfolded her and had her ears plugged in, and took her like that to marina barrage.
While, the rest of us, went there to prepare the stuff and find a good spot. I have marie's catwalk on video though. YAY.She got a canon eos, something similar to cedric's. At first i thought wow, i got cammy, i'm going to take alot of pictures. But her camera was way cooler, the screen so big, and photo resolution damn clear. It was like everyone's favourite toy. I want I want, and the sequence shots were really easy to use. I love it so much! Then we made her do things from her dare list, like go up to a guy, and take photo with him, and then doing that catwalk and also shouting out, hey i'm finally 18!. The things we do for friends right? Especially if its a significant age!
After barrage, headed over to batok, for wuwu's birthday bbq. Happily, i took out my camera again cause I didn't see one insight. Then got cedric's canon eos. Ahyio, paiseh again. The quality and speed of the photos wayy better too. So i just quietly kept my camera again lor. Alot of food leh. I had alot of fun too! Talked and camwhored alot alot, hope all of today's photos all go up then I can put them here. Actual birthdate still not here yet right. wuwu, you wait. I will wish you again, when I see you on wednesday.
Alot of pictures right? Theres more on fb. Marie uploaded 3 albums alone from yesterday's 4 hour birthday celebration.
Ice skating on monday. I'm so nervous, ziling ng and wuwu. better go ah. try out new things.

I'm getting very pek cek, uploading pictures on facebook is a chore. Its SUPER SLOW. Now I know what ziling means. I went out to ecp today with aiman, nicole and sarah, and subsquently jane as well.
We expected the fantastic hot sunny weather because it was definitely all sunny in the morning.
But the skies were dark and overcast when we finally arrived at ecp, it poured. Really heavy rain, like we took out our super umbrellas. By the way, we all wore different colours, i wore yellow, aiman wore blue, sarah wore red, nicole wore white and jane wore black! our umbrellas were like smish smashed also equals to what colours we were wearing ,so cool right.
When we arrived at ecp, it really rained very heavily. we headed to the shop for shelter, and ate aiman's chicken mayo sandwich there. ate nicole's grapes, which they flicked its seeds into the bushes near by. After that, when the rain stopped for a while, we headed to our spot, and took out the plastic sheet to put on the sand. then sarah and i taught nicole how to play taitee, while aiman camwhored with my camera. but its also thanks to her that we have like 350 pictures taken today! now i'm trying my best to upload them onto fb.

then halfway through taitee, it rained AGAIN. headed over to the nearest shelter, this rain lasted for very long, stood at the shelter with the strong winds blowing against my frail skin. fine, took lots of unglam shots, but we had food for company as well. so it wasn't THAT BAD. then when it started to get really lighter, so we went out again. we decided to walk further out, where the dark clouds weren't covering. played frisbee for a while, played in the water, and it started drizzling, by that time, it was alreadt 5.15. Time to leave for bedok to meet jane for dinner. aiman had to leave for the mosque.

my umbrella was my best investment today. anyway, instead of meeting jane at bedok, we took bus 36 to changi airport straight away. maybe it telepathic or what. jane took us to eat laksa! i had craving for laksa today! oooh. i enjoyed it. then jane had to leave for her cya duty cause she was SO LATE already. then nicole, sarah and i went to starbucks. nicole had her java chip and we talked and talked for an hour before heading to candy empire.T3.
there was nothing much anyway. i just enjoyed the airport's toilet. i think i drank too much h20 in starbucks, i went to the toilet like 4 times in a row after that. but the toilet is just awesome. love it!
had so much fun today. i wish the weather would have been kinder, but hey! nothing's actually predictable right.
i promise to upload the entire album onto fb soon. if fb allows me. ohohoh. i know how the sequence thing works in my camera now! :)

Tomorrow is the start of a hectic week ahead. I have something planned on every single day of this week!
I will be meeting different groups of people. I will be spending alot of $$$. I need to manage my finances. Tomorrow class outing, surely spend more than my normal amount. But still taking money from mummy.
HAHAH. So many things to do.
I wish I can just rewind. So many memories that I want to re-live. ARGH.
Today, I went shopping. Okay got out of the house, went to orchard, ISETAN for kyushu food fair. Cool okay. I wanna own a supermarket. Then I can eat and take whatever I like. Plus, supermarkets always have a wide variety of stuff that always makes me hungry. When i retire, I want to own a chain of supermarkets.
The essence of time.

" We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories. Some take us forward, they're called dreams" - Jeremy Iron
Time really passes very fast. In a flash I would say, it was just last saturday around this time that I was still packing for camp, and discussing team names and all online with the others. Now its as if, fast forwarded to a week later. I'm still missing camp.
I'm like bored at home, cause the exams are over, but definitely really busy.
Outing planning.
Sarah Ho's planning the one for sec 2 clique.
Ziling's planning for poly clique.
Yinsan's planning for ij clique.
Joseph's planning for Team Rocket.
I seem very relaxed hor? I contribute ideas. I just wrote out all my activities out in my calender, and i realised that. I don't have a week that isn't filled with a single activity! FO Camp totally drained majority of it. Followed by the NHWC Launch rehersals and all those. I will make time. Don't worry, just gimme a call! HAHHA
TELUNAS, RIAU ISLANDS
Thursday, March 11, 2010 @ 7:02 pm
Hello people! I'm finally back. Yes. I'm alive and I'm well. Sorry if you haven't heard from me like yesterday or something. Because the moment I came home, I showered, it was like 4pm or so. I slept right through till this morning 8.30am. IF THERE WASN'T OUTREACH PROGRAM MEETING, I WOULD HAVE SLEPT LONGER.
Well, I'm finally back from 4 days, out of this country. At Telunas, Batam Island. It was ROCKING GOOD. I SWEAR. LIKE SERIOUSLY HAVING POST CAMP SICKNESS NOW. I'm going to post pictures and details of Camp like right now. So if you've got the patience to read on, go ahead. I'm pretty sure its going to be a super duper duper long long post!
Team Rocket Memebers: Matin, Joseph, Joshua, Daryl, Prem, Ibrahim, Jacqueline, Tian Tian, Shiyan and Shimin!
Day 1 : 7th March
Woke up like 5.30am. Took the first train to meet group members at Harbourfront station. Then we took a 45 minute ferry to batam center, sekupang. Well, it was real weird cause we didn't know each other well enough yet. We haven't even come up with a freaking group name, Team Rocket sounded embarrasing to mention in the beginning, so we were given a name tempoarily ( NO NAMERS).
Opted for jungle trek. it was shioork. Cause we were like the first 2 groups ( together with maluku, another group) to go into the jungle. They gave us a jungle pack with a hammock, mosquito net, poncho, persha ( some shelter thing for hammock), a blanket. The entire journey was tiring, but damn worth it. You feel so good, just trekking 20km. My shoes saved me. I love it, proper jungle trekking shoes. We set up base camp near puddles of water and learnt how to tie the hammock. It was super rocky and lots of sharp bushes and trees.Had to climb a dry waterfall, and hold on to tree barks and roots to go up and down the steep jungle vegetation. There we cooked out meals using water from the stream, peeed in the jungle. Buried some stuff. When you normally tie a hammock, its like you find 2 trees like on flat ground to tie it to right. Over here, its like you find 2 STRONG trees that are of different depth. Meaning you can be sleeping hanging down, because the trees are like high, on a hill. So you're like sleeping on top of the world. Didn't dare to turn much in the night, freaking scared that I'll drop out of the hammock. Slept at 8.30am on the first night, cause its dark and you really can't do much in the dark.
Day 2: 8th March
Trekked back to the opening, where we took the boat back to the resort. There we can finally have a bath. Really sticky and smelly you know. Headed back to the beach for some games, and ice breakers. That was where we were given the name, no namers la. Then had lunch, and then did the team building activity.
RAFT BUILDING. We built our very own rafts, from nothing more than a bunch of 4m and 1.5m long bamboos and lots of rope. We learnt how to tie proper knots to secure the raft, like what mickey mouse thing and the frapping. Do until our fingers and hands all blisters and stuff. But it was a really really good effort. Because the knots were hard to untie after the activity. So we are really fantastic raft builders. The initial plan was to take the raft out with 2 kayaks, and paddle to some island. But due to time constraits, we just paddled it out to the open see, like in the middle of the open sea, and paddle back. Even so, it was really tiring paddling. The kayak was like dragging us, but still, really hard to paddle. But it was so fun. Its something you build, with your group members you know! Like what an achievement right! Plus, you had lifejackets on, and they help you float in the water. So I wasn't even afraid of falling into the water, can float. How cool is that right! DID JETTY JUMP. 6M, DID IT TWICE. DIDN'T DARE TO DO 9M. SO 6M IS JUST NICE FOR ME. FREAKING ADDICTIVE. THE MALUKUS DID IT AGAIN ON THE 3RD DAY.
Dinner was served. Don't have to worry about losing weight. You can't! Its eat all you can buffet. Then after that, had telunas olympics. Right after that, eating some fish keropok and the squatting game and the sticking the pencil into the bottle neck, and also picking up "chachas" using chopsticks! Then the last one, nutella was spread onto matin's face, and we had to throw honey stars on it. Competing with the other group. That was like the eventual sort of tie breaker, which helped us win the olympics! Like WOW! 5 precious points, we were almost losing that challenge, but those were helpful 5 points. But seriously, who cares so much about points, it was like that amount of fun we had!
Checked into dorms, took the top bunk, actually all 5 of us took the top bunks cause the other girls choped the 1st bunk. Then slept right through till morning, but woke up because i could heard lizards like upstairs my bunk. going tsktsktsk. Wanted to catch the sunrise, cause i was pretty early, but took a shower while everyone still sleeping, and didn't get to see the sunrise. :(
Day 3: 9th March
Had team activites again while waiting for the other 2 groups to come back. It started to rain like wow. We brought the rain. Eric was telling us that it hadn't rained for 2 months, and its like we just came not too long, and it rained. WOO HOO! Had Lunch, and it was time for the telunas adventure race.
Something like amazing race, Had to past by 10 stations.
1st station: build a land raft, carry 2 members on it and walk around 2 flags
2nd station: find a coloured flag in the rocky area of the beach
3rd station: put non swimmers/those uncomfortable in the water in a kayak, while the rest of the members, with lifejackets too, swim and pull the kayak from the beach till the jetty. (lost my rubberband ): !)
4th: translate message, do jigsaw, and match countries with flags
5th: count the poles/sticks that lead from the dock to the beach. about 1000 plus.
6th: do volley ball challenge.
7th: trek to the jungle, and do stuff at the low ropes course. WE DIDN'T READ INSTRUCTIONS ON THE ACTIVITY SHEET. ALMOST COMPLETED ALL THE QUESTIONS BEFORE WE REALISED, AT THE LAST QUESTION: IT SAID. DO NOT COMPLETE THE ACTIVITIES ABOVE, AND JUST WRITE YOUR GROUP MEMBERS' NAMES ON THE PAPER AND PROCEED TO THE NEXT POINT. SO MALU. We did like jumping jacks and sang majulah singapura, and did so many things before we realised. But it was super fun. Like hilarious!
8th: do the bottle blowing thingy, to make the tune for twinkle twinkle little star.
9th: cross the river with :"crocodiles". those standard standard kind, of crossing the river with paper lah.
10th: got one long pvc pipe with a lot of holes. we had to fill it up with water, to get the ping pong balls out. WAHSEH. Stood there with everyone to compete, using all the fingers we could use, and stretching them to cover the holes man. Damn cramped la. so many people and trying to cover, more than to holes and still filling it up with water so the ping pong balls at the bottom can float up! But as i said, it was really fun, can feel the team spirit. right? team rocket!
went for dinner and had briefing with "jingle bells", and then the fun really kicked in. Team rocket stayed on, did our journals together. Decided to stay up the night. That was really the initial plan. Played truth or dare. Found out many interesting things, right guys? Hmmmm? Then joseph taught the rest how to play bridge, luckily liyin taught me already. its really addictive. played through the night.
But then slowly bit by bit, around 3am people could feel the tiredness setting in, then slowly went off to bed. Left Jac, Shiyan, joseph, daryl and i lah. talked a bit, bits of carol's group also alive and kicking, continued playing. Thunderstorm set in, brrrrrrrh, cold the strong wind was really really strong, then everything was flying. Quite fearful of a potential tsunami. really didn't want to sleep, stayed up late to catch my sunrise. think the rest couldn't take it, they grabbed whatever chairs they could find in the dining area and went off for a short nap, because the rain made it impossible to get to the dorms. xin mao and eugene taught me how to play poker, so that i could pass time and wait to watch my sunrise. its really addictive, what those card games can do to you. Luckily using jigsaw puzzles, if not. :(:(:( I think i'm quite good at it. so BRING IT ON MAN! I can play now. I'm not some suaaku who doesn't know much.Waited for day break, and saw sun rise. Beautiful, you'll never ever get to see it in singapore. Well breakfast was served.
Our last meal together.
4th day: 10th March
Wanted to go to the beach to play for the last time, but the weather got rainy and all. I finally threw those macs shoes away. horrid experience, never ever wanna go back there. had the urgh to play bridge.omg. addictive. played with whatever time we had left. but couldn't finish our last game. jac, joseph and daryl! we need to play again! took last pictures of everything, as a group. impromptu made our flag from the envelopes provided, like spelt out T.E.A.M R.O.C.K.E.T. Someone was a genius i tell you, last minute, with last minute flag. Took pictures with everything, because its the memories that we will get to hold from such pictures right. Took the last boat out of telunas to batam center, and took the ferry back to singapore.
i miss telunas.
i miss the wind.
i miss all the fun we've had.
i miss all the vulgarities in the convos we had. seriously, these 4 days i heard the most f words!
i miss the crappy jokes, and the waiting to know what "tuition" was.
i miss all the code names like what, conductor and jingle bells.
ultimately, i miss TEAM ROCKET.
I think outing is being planned, hope to see you guys soon! TEAM ROCKET FTW!
More pictures on fb. next week, official ltc site on fb will be loaded with ALOT MORE UNGLAM SHOTS.
thats the dock.
in between dorms.
I'm leaving for a 4 day trip to telunas.
Saturday, March 06, 2010 @ 6:13 pm
I think i'm done with packing my bag! I'm serious. Like the huge hitchhiker's bag. Gonna be the bulk of laughter tomorrow. I had Rayu give me so much advice about camp. She told me to bring and bring that, wear this and wear that! Cause I haven't been on such trips before, and her advice made it so much easier for me to pack! Thanks rayu! Like some mummy you know! Bring this, and wear that! When I come back I'm gonna tell you all about it!
So thats my post of the day. I'm leaving the house at 6.15am tomorrow. Hopefully catch the first train and head down to harbourfront station to meet the rest. I hope have fun, and I'm safe, and I can bring back things from telunas! See you! Miss me alright!
@ 1:33 am
FINALLY FREE.
Ended year 1 exams today. Last day. Last slot. Can you imagine how sian everyone was when we all gathered outside the exam venue. Anyways, whats structural muscular hypertrophy! I was trying my best to make full use of the time given, people were like dragging chairs and making a hell lot of noise.
I was suffering under the cold blasting aircon, with like 3 friggin layers, and still shivering! Anyway, caught 'PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF!". The thief's actually "look". I knew he had something up his sleeve when he was so accepting of percy. I couldn't quite understand the God part, I haven't read about Greek Gods and such, i don't know such things okay.
The movie's so exciting! It was hilarious as well, I liked it! I think it was a much better choice than "dear john". Paid $8 for movie because of my dear safra card! plus I satisfied my xiao long pao craving!
Percy Jackson's real name is Logan I think! LongAN. You know!
This would be the last post before my trip to Batam! Leaving on sunday morning, like real early. Group members wanna meet at 6.45am. I don't have private car to take me there, doubt I can reach there on time. The trains also don't start so early. Actual meeting time is 7.15am!!!
I hope I enjoy myself. I don't know what to expect.
To all those who will miss me!
I'll be leaving for batam on the 7th of March 2010.
Coming back on 10th March 2010! Miss me alright! :)
Love List
Wednesday, March 03, 2010 @ 11:34 pm
I officially finished watch E.U. Lee Pak Kiu is so cute. Regardless of whether he's fierce or crying or smiling or whatever. Whatever he does, melts my heart anyway. He's so cool. I remember him saying "keen yat gor, lai yat gor", meaning see one catch one. The way he said it so cool.
Besides HK drama, theres also korean drama. Last night couldn't sleep. So plugged in, and tuned into my love list (made up of all time favourite songs) and before you know it. I was away in lala land. It has a calming effect on me. Well, cause its full of emotions, when you actually watch the drama, you're able to feel what the character is going through. Especially when Hwang Baekyeon teared, and very confidently say he will get 100 for his mid terms. Can sense the determination in his tone, together with the music. AWWWWW, thats why i say, korean guys are endearing, don't care if they cry or not. You're able to see their emotions and your heart melts when that happens.
Mrs Koh must be really bored. Everytime i go down for piano lesson, she spends 45 minutes talking to me about anything under the sun. She's been encouraging me lately, not to give up on piano. She told me stories of her old days, and how much she enjoys music. Now I feel so much better, suddenly music feels so fun. But I got to get my pieces right, my B piece, is neither here nor there. I'm practising, but I have heavy fingers and I'm not GENTLE. Pedalling. ARGH, and chords that are so far away from each other. I find my fingers stiffen every time I play that piece, like Mrs Koh has to pry my fingers open.
I want to have super flowy fingers, so i can play smoothly.

Chemistry paper today. I got a mental block just by reading the questions. Though the questions were somewhat manageable, I realised that the dumb mental block made it hard for me to think. All I knew was that there were many questions and I had many solutions and reactions in my head. They just couldn't be put in the right place at the right time.
I really don't know how I'll fare, I didn't complete the paper, there was barely enough time for me to complete section c! When she said 1 minute left, i was like on question 20. I really think I got poor time management. Sigh, like wuwu said, its OVER. don't think about it.
FWL next. I think I'll start tomorrow (procrastination). I watched my hk drama from 4 till 9 and kdrama from 9-1010. Later when gran and mummy are done with their kdrama, I'll continue my hk drama. I'm determined to finish watching 10 episodes today!
OH OH OH. I finally visited celine's house. She's staying at ggm's block. Just behind my place. I know how to get there without getting lost okay! Went to her place to bai nian on saturday. She has wii, and its really fun. I'm serious, like I was playing boxing and golf and mario and bowling on wii! I suck at mario, but I'm goood at golf. Boxing with sqq left me with arm and back ache! Celine's mother so cute. Keep "spamming" us with food. Luckily,I had lunch like at 12 so I had stomach for food.
Didn't get to go to sherm's place for cny this year! ALL THANKS TO EXAMS.
