Sigh. Today is
Sunday.
Tomorrow is
monday. Then starting of
MSTs and its going to be a hectic week ahead. I guess I won't be blogging much, but I'll check my
cbox :)
Oh. Just
received an email from school. MOE states that it isn't necessary for students with flu like symptoms to have a
LOA, therefore I can go back to school without declaring.
Thats good
thats good, then I won't miss any lessons. Seriously, don't even feel unwell. Just occasional clearing of throat of the disgusting phlegm and a bout of dry throat.
Thats it.

Thanks for all the kind get well wishes for Princess. She just got back from her op, with a cone thingy round her neck. And a long scar which she keeps scratching at.She will recover soon. I know it. She is resting well and eating well. Though she has changed her taste in dried food to those canned food type. At least shes eating well, together with all her antibiotics and her nutrigel with multi vitamins. She'll be good as new in no time.
Last night, went to Jack's Place at United Square for dinner with Ms Chong and caught up with a group of ijtp 4/8 friends! We were practically the whole group making alot of noise there. Arrived at 6.45pm and stayed till 9.30! Bill amounted to $353 dollars plus! HAH! I love my escargots!! I love the food there as well. We talked and laughed about practically everything under the sun. Ms Chong was also telling us that she had a guy to introduce to Qi Qing! That was hilarious. Many were also amused by Qi Qing's horrible leg scar, which was a result of her clumsiness.
Got back slightly after 10, and read the news. Took my temperature and it was like 37,4! OMG, then the article said you don't have to have high fever to be a suspect for H1N1 virus. I've been having sore throat and runny nose since tuesday and then my temperature was then 37.4. Paranoid okay!Anyways, I hope it isn't H1N1, saw doctor today, given antibiotics and stuff. Then came back read the papers and was like OMG. 1 in 5 H1N1 patients remain undetected. OKAY. I am being paranoid again. I could be that 1 in 5 right? I don't know lah.I'll just continue taking my temperature these few days while on medication and ask around if anyone I met recently is feeling unwell, then I can tell. SIGH. Why do the other polytechnics like RP and NYP have holidays extended, and SP and TP and NP seem so rigid. Haven't even recieved like emailss on what to expect, and stuff from the school. Its just LOA from form tutor today. Thats it! Are they taking things for granted or what? Or just want to go on with the academic year as planned?
Okay, this one is funny. I was so amused by the youcam function on qiqing's laptop! :) Cause apparently, my laptop doesn't have these sort of functions.

Well, today is what a day I can say.
Dog's eyes really red, take a look.

It has been about 6 days since we came back from the vet. Then today, my parents and sister took her to the vet AGAIN, cause I got physio and can't go along.
Well, when i came back, she wasn't back, but they were. I actually thought the worst. Then I went to ask her.
Her condition was critical. I mean, my parents said that her womb has a really bad infection and that it was inevitable for an operation. But then she had a really high fever, leading to her red red eyes and that when you have a fever, you can't be operated on.
So according to my father, she was placed on a drip AGAIN, and she was injected with a large packet of anti fever drug, and she had no reaction. They kept her at the clinic, cause as soon as her fever subsides, she can be operated on. Who knows when that will be?
It could be tonight or tomorrow morning, sigh. I hope everything goes well for Princess.
Get Well Soon, and get that appetite back and hyperness back.
Dearest Princess, Get Well Soon!

Haven't been blogging for some time. Decided to update for a little while. Starting from this week. I went to school almost every single day this week, monday and tues for chem. Then wednesday and friday for math. I'm so tired now. This is to clarify doubts before the upcoming msts, which begin on the 29th of june.
sparda outing on thursday, I didn't go. Instead I took Princess to the vet. She has been terribly sick for the past week. Loss of appetite, thats the most obvious one. She used to gobble down ANYTHING immediately when food was presented to her, but this week, she hardly touched her food. Her reflexes are slow, she doesn't seem so hyper anymore. Come to think about it, she is turning 6 this year.
So took her to the vet on thursday, my father finally agrees that its best for the dog to be steralized, as we had such a hard time convincing him to do so. Even the vet said its best, to prevent such situations from happening, but the spay process will be in 2 months time. For now, have to clear the infection. Both of her eyes are infected, a side effect from the effect of another infection, caused by the heat period. Then took her temperature, where they stuffed a thermometer up her ass, it was 40 degrees, SUPER HIGH.
Doctor said she was underweight, and that she should eat more. We didn't know she was underweight. I knew she was plump but never underweight. Its similar to calling me underweight as well LOL. Princess is so brave, though she barked the whole time she was there. The vet gave her 2 jabs. 1 for the fever the other, for the injection. She had to be placed on a saline drip, cause she hadn't been eating. OMG. PRINCESS GOT LIKE 3 NEEDLES STUCK INTO HER ALL ON THE SAME DAY. Poor Girl. We had to leave her there for 1/2 hour for the drip to like go into her blood and stuff.
So now, shes at home recuperating, with 20 days of antibiotics and the bill accounted to $136. Okay I guess, anything for her to get well. I'm worried for my dear Princess though. But she seems to be improving.
Watched Absolute Boyfriend last night on channel U, there weren't any english subs, so had to rely on my horribly terribly rotten mandarin to understand. Not to bad, I even watched till the very end, until 1.3oAM. Plus had to wake up at 6AM for the Fort Canning Walk. Shortest hours of sleep EVER, 4.5 HOURS.
Seriously damn tired now, but the walk was fun. Jokes and all. Walked with Uncle Peter and family, as well as Uncle Pete Tek (the hilariously funny crappy lamest history guru EVER).

Just came back from Father's day dinner. We had KOREAN FOOD. All the korean trip memories just kept flowing back. It was like when we were in korea. Had like bbq beef and pork on the grilled charcoal stuff. Like actually in korea.
The lady boss was an ahzuma from korea, actually a korean lady and the waitresses were all nice and patient with us.
Then we also had bibibap or the mixed rice with the egg and ingredients. Then it was like so cool. The way the did things in the restaurant, the ladies were strong to carry the charcoal to put in the bbq pit like, plus it was so hot. I suddenly love kimchi. Couldn't stop eating it the moment i placed a piece in my mouth. Then had like ginseng chicken soup. OMG like SUPER NICE. I love koreans and korean food and korea! The food is not oily at all, cause you expect bbqing to be oily and smelly. No oil was added.
Garlic, was kinda placed on top of the grill. It was fantastic. The garlic was WOOO! I love garlic. My mother said its like chilli garlic, cause after placing the garlic on the grill for some time, it was like drier than the moist garlic. Then the taste was explosive. How else can I express my love for koreans and korean food? I LOVE THEM ALL!
Then had Ice Cream at some shop called Udders. I'm not a fan of like chocolate flavored stuff, but the chocolate marshmallow ice cream was DA BOMB. It wasn't the usual creamy, milky ice cream. This was more like a dark chocolate, bitter taste and not too creamy. It rocked and had pear ice cream. Something unique, it had little pear bits inside and it was delicious and super nice!
Enjoyed dinner, my starving for the day for this meal paid off! It so contradicting what I'm currently studying. But OH WELL.
Tuesday, June 09, 2009 @ 11:02 pm
Physio today. Ran for 10 mins at speed 6. TIRING OKAY. I know i haven't exercised in a long time and just started jogging, so I'm supposed to build up stamina and speed. When i'm more comfortable with jogging, I'll get to move on to the agility stuff maybe shuttle running and sorts. WOW. I can't wait to get off this programme! Poly 50 coming, can't take part, but i support! AHAHAH!
Tomorrow is wednesday, the school holidays kinda just fly past really easily. sigh, i did nutrition today and chem and tomorrow i have a 10am lesson for chem. I dislike oxidation and reduction and redox reactions totally. I never know when to add the extra electrons and my equation always ends up super funny. Gotta work work work! Less than 3 weeks to msts.
Angela is off at camp today, so I have no one to webcam with me for the next 2 days! :(
Labels: and put my all into studying, damn, Gotta work work work work
Monday, June 08, 2009 @ 10:40 pm
Today is monday. Its the start of my school holidays! However I can't help but feel that it isn't anything like my school holidays at all. I got to study for MSTs which are like immediately when I go back to school on week 11.
I just checked out the topics to study for psychology, its like 11 and a half chapters to study! Seriously. 11 chapters I've got to squeeze it into 3 weeks. Then there is cell bio and ihw and nutrition and math. Gahh, math. Trying to understand polynomial division and partial fractions today.
Then I revised procaryotes and eucaryotes. Moulds and Fungi and Yeast and Microscopic Algae and I know that diatoms are microscopic algae with glass like walls. Revised the Bacteria structure, Flagella, Fimbriae and Pili and stuff like Petidoglycan and outer membrane. I feel so accomplished. I also managed to make time to practise my piano, czerny no. 17! The one that I've been procrastinating. I didn't want to find time to practice my Little Windmill and the Buccaneer as well.
Watched my Super Junior EHB episodes 12 and 13 today. Found the time to do so as well. Laughed my head off, these people are really funny ones and singers as well. I take it as a form of destressing when watching them!
Then in the evening, I studied module 1 from psychology. I know there are the goals of psychology. Describe, Explain, Predict and Control! Yay! I think thats all I can remember. So I finally decided to come online for now. Tomorrow will be another busy day.
Singapore Idol Auditions Day
Saturday, June 06, 2009 @ 9:39 pm
Decided to just go down to THE CATHAY to support Asha and Hasisha in their Singapore Idol dream. So I thought they were already queueing and stuff and can audition. They weren't. The day was bloooody hot. The sun was shining so brightly and it was super duper hot! So after meeting them for a breakfast snap, I decided that I'll go look for Angela since she'll be done for the day from her Piano lesson.
Then her mother treated me to HAN'S LUNCH. We still have the same kind of taste huh angie? Grilled Fish Dory, but I'm not as fussy as her in terms of food choice yeah? Its just a similar preference. I managed to persuade her to watch HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE with me! YAY!
The movie ticket was like 10 bucks! SERIOUSLY, so expensive, now thats why I prefer to watch movies on a weekday, cause of student price. Now I want all the songs from that movie. OH, it was goood. Angela didn't complain as much as I expected her to do, cause she was like omg I can't believed I bought a 10 dollar ticket to watch HANNAH MONTANA, I don't even want to watch this movie. I rather watch monster vrs aliens what not, blah blah blah. I'm going to curse at you till the end of the movie. In the end, she ended up laughing as much as I did! SO YEAH, I suppose you enjoyed yourself luh!

Logini, my sec 1 partner in class!

I tried out the circle line today, the ceilings for the stations are so high. It took me 1h 10mins to get home, just going 1 big round. From dover to outram to serangoon to bishan and back home. omg. So long, but i'm glad i tried out the circle line. The train smelt new, the stations so cool, got those nice slopes and all. I think its quite cool.
Webcamming with dear angela again, i think this is the nicest shot you've given me so far? I think you tried to smile, and I know you're smiling cause your eyes are smiling! It rocks right. The snipping tool not PRINT SCREEN.
Angela this feels weird saying this to you too. Since I said it to the others. I shall say to you too.
ILY Angela Kwok Ying Ying. URGH, that was so weird. EEEEEE, my goosebumps are all coming out. Are yours coming out too? HAH!

Joan Theng is trying to be nice to me! She wants to invite me to dinner! Instead of cursing and swearing at me and my ridiculous excuse for not wanting to go chomp chomp.
Angela Kwok, Gotcha!

Angela! You! I managed to do this you! I told you I'll figure something out to get your picture on webcam up on my blog right? My friend taught me today! Its not merely a simple task of print screening stuff. It requires an elite mind! AHAH! I'm so great am I not?
