cancer is scary

i attended the wake today.
i dared to look into the coffin for the first time.
come to think about it.
she isn't even someone that i've seen often.
yet i dared to take a peak and stare at her
she looked peaceful.
had a pearl in her mouth.
lotus everywhere on top of the casket.
wrapped in a blanket.
went with lizzie and mich.
PQ seems to have grown up suddenly.
no longer the playful and cheeky member i knew her as.
cancer is scary.
it was a 4th stage diagnosis of lung cancer.
according to PQ, didn't suffer much.
which is good to hear.
its like only a month after the surgery.
didn't complete chemo.
its scary isn't it.
one moment the person you know is gone.
its heart breaking if its someone really close to you.
i wonder what i would do.
i wonder why such things happen.
but its good that it was quite pain-free.
i wouldn't want to suffer in pain before i died.
PQ is strong.
she'll be okay.
we should really treasure the people around us.
we never really know until we lose them.
thats the scary part.
